GivingBack2gether

 My name is Eddie Vera and I'm the founder of GivingBack2gether, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free, fully stocked backpacks to children in need.

This mission is deeply personal to me. As a child, I was one of the students who relied on donated backpacks during the school year. I didn't fully understand why I received them - I only knew that they helped me feel prepared, confident and seen. That simple act of kindness has stayed with me, and today, I've turned that experience into action with the support of my family and our community.

Since launching GivingBack2Gether, we've been able to provide over 350 backpacks to children in need. Each backpack is filled with essential school supplies such as pens, pencils, notebooks, and more - everything a student needs to begin the school year with dignity and excitement.

Our goal for the coming year is ambitious: we aim to distribute 500 backpacks to students across underserved communities.
